Introduction

My name is Stefan Rippel. My profession is to accompany people on their path of suffering and to lead them into a process of self healing. As a fully trained massage therapist I had the privilege of working in hospitals for a long time and came across a wide range of health problems. I therefore had the opportunity to learn a lot about how modern western medicine works. It is still amazing and wonderful to see how many people are able to find satisfying solutions through it.

I came into contact with a completely different point of view while preparing for my exam in TUINA. TUINA is a discipline of TCM, like acupuncture or herbal medicines are. TCM is based on the idea of something called QI, which is what we would call life energy. This concept is found all over the world, and different cultures give different names to the same phenomenon. Working with the meridian system made me much more efficient as a therapist. As the desire to learn more and more about this system grew, Mother Life arranged it such that I met the teachers I needed to develop my skills.

The more I developed my abilities to feel and see those energies the more I was able to use them in my daily hospital routine. The more I used them the more conflict I got into with the establishment there. The paradigm of academic medicine denies the existence of something like life energy. This is a dogma or it is like saying that the earth is a disc many centuries ago. In order to understand where this comes from we have to look to Ancient Greece where modern science has its roots.

There are two main established schools of thought, those of Aristotle and of Plato. Each has a completely different point of view. Aristotle favoured a materialistic form of world view we call mechanistic which breaks down everything into small parts for analysis. Of course this form of analysis was very useful in creating such important disciplines such as chemistry. But will this form of detailed analysis ever come to an end?

Plato's vitalistic view is different. It says that an organism or anything else is more than the sum of its single piece. There is a
mystery behind, a hidden sense, something which puts the parts together into a whole thing, a living organism for example. These two ideas conflict each other till today and the mechanistic point of view seems to be stronger.

Academic medicine is mechanistic oriented and I have often been told by these academicians that what I'm doing is not only nonsense, but also dangerous. This often made me wonder, because my work with the patients has been extremely successful, and this success has not been kept hidden from the doctors, who have consistently refused to have any discussion about it. My teachers have always encouraged me not to give up and often gave me valuable hints for my work and research. I found that most doctors tend to deny facts discovered in other scientific disciplines. We will have a closer look on that later this evening.

As my work as a therapist continued I knew I could do much more for the people as I was at the right place, but unfortunately I had to conceal what I was really doing and had to pretend to offer conservative therapy. The final showdown soon came between the chief of my department and me. She blamed me for enabling a patient with a prolapsed disc to stand on her feet without any pain in less than 20 minutes. She was embarrassed because she had given the patient more than ten injections that very afternoon and it had not worked. Her reputation and a lost of face was more important to her than the well being of this patient. She yelled at me for doing something so unacceptable that at that point I threw in the towel, gave up my job and left.

This incident happened more than fifteen years ago. Now I find that in many places academic medicine is not interested in what is being done to the patients as long as it helps tobetter their condition- especially when there is absolutely no hope for them. At that time there was no good medication in the market for AIDS as we have today, I was therefore able to work without any restrictions on these patients.

As I became more experienced I then met a doctor who was very different from many others. She had studied under the same teachers as I had and had excellent political connections. A miracle then happened. We got the chance to set up a department for hands on healing in a cancer station in one of the biggest hospitals in Vienna. Our job was to treat people undergoing radiation and chemotherapy and to improve their condition.
In the beginning we worked closely together but slowly our paths began to diverge. I worked mainly with the patients and gave practical instructions to the therapists who had completed atheoretical course which was periodically run by Dr.Ritt for doctors, nurses and other medical staff.

Also Dr. Ritt began to work on several studies; one of them was in cooperation with the Technical University and the Department of Nuclear Physics. The objective of this study was to research on energy flow and its influence on the state of health. During this time I was fortunate enough once again to learn a lot, saw miracles happen and found out that I was not cut out to be either a politician or a scientist.

My experiences with the patients and their relatives

I love to work with people. Each one of us is unique. The way a person handles suffering is also unique - either as a challenge or as a need for life changes. Illness and death are part of life. Our culture often tries to keep it out of our daily life. Everybody has to be young, beautiful and healthy. All of us pretend to live in a never-ending spring. When we begin to realize that this is not true we start to lie to our selves instead of accepting autumn and winter as a part of the wheel on which we walk through our life.

The day to learn about all this will come to each one of us and to those we love. At that point we realize how helpless we are, as we are not able to support somebody efficiently. This is then what the professionals are for - the doctors, the nurses, the therapists and the healers. But not everybody can be a Doctor, a Nurse or a Therapist. One needs years of training for these professions. But we are human beings, and every human being is a natural born healer.

To rediscover this natural healing power one needs to develop self confidence and self respect, a lot of energy and courage. Love as well as a deep need to learn is the fuel to start and move the engine of self development. I have often seen this happen. The people who were treated at our hospital were generally very weak and a few of them were in the final stages. Many were unable to come on their own and needed support-support to drive them to hospital, to lead them along endless corridors and stairways until they finally arrive on my couch.

These brave supporters were always the wives, husbands, parents, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters. They entered the treatment room together with the patient, helped them to the couch and left the room during the treatment but there were others who kept remaining in the room. I soon realised that those who chose to remain with the patient did so because of different reasons. Some distrusted everything that was going on in the treatment room, and they have good reasons to be. Others were curious, interested, and open minded and willing to learn everything which was related to the problems of their loved ones.

They began to ask me, "What are you doing here, what is this for, what are the benefits?" and so on. When I first experienced such behaviour I was really surprised. But I decided it was part of my job to help train others, so I was not disturbed by these curious questions., I began to explain to the relatives what I was doing in the same detailed way I would have done to my trainees. And one day the magic question came up.

"What can I do?" The lady who asked was a tiny woman with short grey hair and the kind of evil eye a daxhound has before it bites your leg. Her husband was suffering from a brain tumour, which was not cancerous and he had had surgery which had destroyed his ability to see and to hear. Later he also developed bladder cancer. Renate was her name and she kept him alive. She fed him the perfect food, gave him the nutritional support he needed, kept a close eye that he got the correct infusion during his chemotherapy - which is not always the case in hospitals - as I have often heard that wrong infusions have been given to someone. Such accidents are common in big hospitals. But Renate kept a close watch on her husband, and the results of his blood tests were amazing.

Renate cared and was willing to learn to do better. She is a retired financial officer, who had no ideas about energy work, or about anatomy and physiology. I asked her to do an assessment on her husband's energy field. She put her hand where I had told her and when I asked what she had felt her answer was: "Nothing!"

I then taught her a technique called "Chelation", which is used to move and strengthen the whole energetic field of a person. If it is done daily it's perfect for those who have to cope with the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Through Chelation blockages are dissolved and lost energies replaced. The patient goes into a deep state of relaxation during the treatment and afterwards they feel refreshed and recharged. To see how someone manages the energy flow in his own hands I first do the treatment together with the student. I did this with Renate. She was doing extremely well and this encouraged me to ask what she felt while she was working. Her answer again was: "Nothing".

She is an honest person and is willing to work hard. Her progress was incredible but she denied feeling anything for more than two years. This often happens. People, especially women who live with this sort of experience deny feeling something for to do so would mean to feel pain. So they avoid feeling anything to avoid pain.

But not everybody has to overcome such things. As I trained more relatives I learned that the world is full of gifted healers, who are not only able to see energies but to also manipulate them in a therapeutic way as any professional could. Most of them learned so quickly that I could hardly believe that this was possible. But when I looked closely there was an easy explanation. The motivation was completely different from professional healers. Relatives want their loved ones to survive and this is what sets free enormous powers.

What does light work mean?

What are powers? What are we talking about when we say light work? What happens when one human puts his hands on another? There is pain relief, stress reduction or a spontaneous healing of cancer may become more visible. What are life energy and the human energy field? What is the energy field of each living being or the Aura as it is called-made of?

Each culture has its symbols and its science. As Europeans when we want to integrate the wisdom of our ancestors in our modern world we have to translate their teachings into modern language. A hieroglyphic painting on an ancient temple column can tell a lot to those who are able to read those signs. Today, here in London, in 2006, we try to deepen our understanding of the way of thinking we are used to.

Each living cell emits a low intense radiation of bio photons. Bio photons are lightquants, which are the same as those emitted by the sun but only at a much lower intensity. Lightquants have some amazing characteristics. They are continuous waves from the sun and at the same time wherever we look at them they become particles.
Gurwitsch, a Russian physicist who lived in the early twenties of the last century described this phenomenon of "Light emitted by the living" and called it "mitogenetic radiation". Popp, a German physician from Freiburg, who is a leading authority in this specific field calls it "ultra low cell radiation". But where does this radiation comes from?

There is an interaction between light and material. When a photon hits an atom in which the electrons move on courses with different energy levels, the energy of the Photon initiates the movement of an electron from an inner lower level to an outer higher level course. The duration of such stimulation is in the sphere of nano and microseconds. When it's finished the electron moves back to its original level because of the gravitational forces in the nucleus. But the energy which has moved it before cannot get lost, so it's emitted again as a photon, a bio photon as we have said before.

Isn't it amazing that Native Americans give the number One on their sacred medicine wheel to the sun? One is the sun, remember that! The first step into life is sunlight; each single Atom in our sun system is made from the energy of this sunlight. Our ancestors knew that, so they worshipped Ra in Egypt, Helios in Greece, Apollo in Rome and our Celtic ancestors prayed to Belenus. All of them knew its significance, the Sun! They understood the Sun as a powerful living entity. In the same way they worshipped the Moon, as Hathor, as Minerva, Freya, Nimue etc. The living Moon is the number nine on the sacred wheel of the Native Americans, and nine also represents the AURA. The Photons emitted by the sun gives the energy that is needed for each living organism to build an electromagnetic field. Isn't the sunlight reflected by the moon a perfect picture to show the miracle of how an energy field comes into being?

You remember the exchange of energy which created cell emitted photons. These bio photons have some amazing qualities. They are highly coherent, which means they are put in order on a very high level, comparable to Laser light. Like Laser light they have very stable intensity and waves superimpose to such a stable extent that they have the ability to put in order other waves, which means that they have the capability to transfer information
All this makes you dizzy? Don't worry; I will repeat it in simple words again:

The energy of sunlight creates an electromagnetic radiation of our bodies on a cellular level. The radiation amount of all cells in our body content is known as Aura.

The special characteristic of this light emitted by our bodies is that it is able to transfer information. That means a damaged cellular structure emits another type of light to a healthy one and these facts are very important for the assessment and energetic diagnosis. There is also a therapeutic consequence. With the light we emit we can transfer healing information to damaged cell structures. Because there is an interaction between light and material if you remember, this means that the transfer of light can cause a healing process.

It is easy to see that not only directed transmission of energies cause changes in our fields. Any kind of information does. Think about the environment, destructive emotional circumstances, the number of exogenous stimuli seems endless. Everything around you transfers information to your field, because everything is energy, like you, and everything is connected-as you are connected -to the whole universe in a continuous flow and exchange of information.

The Perception and Transfer of Energies

All our perceptions are based on sensory stimuli which are interpreted by our brains according to each individual's perception of the surrounding world. Our perception creates our universe. Whether it is sensory, optical, olfactory or acoustic stimuli, from childhood we have learned to interpret them in a similar way just like everybody else. There is a common agreement about what can be seen, what can be felt when we touch something and so on and so forth.

Light emitted from bodies does not fall into this category. That's why it is a big problem for gifted children, who are able to see the AURA as well as spirits or any other energetic entities. For this gift they are sometimes punished, - punished by their parents, their relatives, ridiculed in the kindergarten and in the primary school by the teachers, they are mocked and shunned until they are forced to accept the common view about perceptive reality.

There is an interaction between all energy fields. Remember what was said about coherent light waves and their ability to transfer information. That means that we can see, touch, smell and hear with our energy fields as well as we can with our senses. What most of us need is training which would help us to translate that kind of information to our brains. So we are able to create a perception of the energetic or spirit world in our consciousness. Everything has its spirit, which means it has its light or Aura. At this point I want to avoid delving too deeply into this because it opens a field of limitless reflections. What I like to do is focus again on the human body and its field. How can we train our perceptions? If we want to answer this question we have to look closely at our bodies. We learned that our bodies create fields on a nuclear level, as long as we are alive. I do not want to go into the question as to what happens with all the energetic information when our bodies die, this is not the aim of this evening's lecture.

Let us focus once again on the development of our perception and what our bodies have to do with it. From ancient temple schools of countless cultures around the world we learn about very special places and structures in our bodies which are highly connected to the structures of our energy fields. This is the key to any training. What we need are flexible joints and a flexible Vertebra. We need to be strongly grounded in order to get a clear perception of reality and not to be lost in daydreams and fantasies. Martial arts, Qi Gong, Tai Chi or Yoga provide the perfect preparation for this.

Everybody has to find out which of these would best fit to him or her. It is important to get into a flow, literally, the more we widen our fields the more we stretch our limits the more information we can receive. This sounds difficult but it isn't. The basics for achieving this kind of perception can be learned in ten minutes by everyone and can be used to support relatives who are suffering in pain. This is far good enough. The reason why I am talking about all the other aspects of energy field is to give you a perspective of how well your abilities can be developed.
I want to make you yearn to break your limits and grow into the self. Basically we can lead the light to flow in two directions, we can add energy or we can remove it. What is required for both movements is our awareness of them and we have to initiate the energy flow with our intention. This is easy for all who have done their Qi Gong exercises properly. All the others have to experience some basics first:

The energy flow is connected to our breath. We can control intensity and frequency of the flow with our breathing.
We can create different frequencies using our muscles, joints and diaphragms.

Don´t worry, about perfecting this as it is a very advanced technique. Inthe beginning we have some specially designed techniques which we can use as a framework. We only need to focus on taking the energy when we breathe in. We focus on our soles and like a tree with its roots we draw the energy from our soles up to our shoulders as long as we breathe in. When we breathe out we lead the energy through our arms and hands from where it leaves our body. The important thing is not to think about this in a form of an idea in the brain but to really feel it. The more we practise the more we will be able to realize the difference.

It always surprises me to see how easily people manage to give energy away and how hard it is for them to take it in. This has a lot to do with religious beliefs, cultural conditioning which rule our sub-consciousness much more than we would expect. For example women are educated to serve and to give. The concept of taking makes them feel guilty. It is a taboo, as some of us will have a hard time learning to take energy away.

The technique in taking energy away is basically the same. We breathe in the energy away and lead them through our arms and breathe out and lead the energy into our legs where it leaves from the soles to the ground. Both adding and removing, is a single action.

The next step is to combine both movements. This can be done in one direction. What is needed for Chelation for example is that the movement is done in both directions, like a wave, especially when there is a need to flush an organ.

The two things we will mainly do as general support to those we want to support is to work with Chelation and the flushing of the liver, the spleen and the kidney. This is enough to cover a basic energetic supply; if more specific treatments are needed we need to increase our abilities and to learn in detail about how the disease works. If we want to cure, what is affecting the body and how it defends itself then we can provide it with the specific support it needs for self healing.

Mother Life, - An Inexhaustible Spring

But where does all this energy come from? For how long can we support others, feeding them from our own resources? It is obvious that this will not work. So what can be done to avoid harming ourselves and at the same time being highly efficient in giving our support? We need an external supply! We have to take from somewhere else and the biggest field we can draw from is the one we live in. It is the electromagnetic field of our living mother earth, a huge field, enormous; it reaches out into space for miles.

For some of us it is hard to realise that our mother earth is a living being. We have been told for a long time that mother earth is a dead matter. But this is not true, as each single day we experience her incredible generosity. We are born into body which is her first gift to us. She makes it possible for us to experience life, by feeding us; challenging us and making us grow. Whatever human genius creates, it is made from the earth - your computer, your car, the flowers as well as the vase and the board it stands on. Never forget this.

A symbol for wisdom and healing in ancient times had been the snake. Think about the snakes on the stick of Äskulap, still used in our days as a symbol for doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and so on. The Snake has no legs, her entire body moves on earth. The kind of movement she does is very similar to a light wave in space, she moves vertically and horizontally at the same time. So she could be seen as a kind of wave coming directly from the earth and here is the strong connection to the healing powers.

Mother Earth designs human body in a continuous process of evolution, she has all the information it needs for healing. We can gather and transfer this information as a channel for healing light. When a body suffers a disease his energy level goes down. Cell reduplication does not work properly any more, metabolic functions run off the rails. Medication can affect inner organs and the entire body becomes more and more weak.

To stop this negative spiral we first have to fill the body with energy and even when it loses everything again after a short time - because of a serious energy field dysfunction - the patient will feel better and stronger. Our intention should be neither to save somebody nor to create a miracle of spontaneous healing. This can happen, when the patient is open to such a thing, when it fits into his karmic condition. However, we as a human do not have any influence on that. We can only be there as a vessel to transfer information and energy. The more conscious we are about the fact that we are a part of something bigger, only then are we able to draw limitless energies for the healing process. Now the irreversible decision we have to take comes. The theory ends and the world as we knew it, changes. We realise the world around us as being alive. The waters, the air, the soil and the trees, everything becomes a part of the dance called life. We can see that we are not separated, or excluded from the dance, we are dancers too.

To realise this wondrous miracle means a lot, you never again will be alone. You are connected to an inexhaustible spring to renew your courage, your love and your power. You come to a new definition for self respect. And all this is not a question of beliefs written in a book, interpreted by men in robes; it is all our living reality. We have to decide if we jump into reality or stay between our beliefs and fantasies.

Let us go back to our main theme, the human energy field. When we suffer from a disease we have pockets of holes through which our energies disappear. Pain, fear, and stress can take away exactly that amount of energy the body needs to renew itself. Therefore all the medication and treatment which is given to the patient cannot benefit him if he is too weak. By reducing fear, pain and stress we are able to increase the quality of life for the patient.

Instinctively we try to support the suffering, but some of us feel restricted in showing our natural behaviour. Let me point out what the main reasons for that pity could be. Imagine a hospital surrounding, it feels strange and ominous to you. All the professionals there - the doctors and the nurses give you the feeling that they know exactly what to do, they have all the competence. Immediately you lose all your self confidence you are happy and grateful that there is somebody who can handle all the problems. In many cases this could be true. I honour the work of this people, they are heroes to me. But it is not often that you will find someone there who is capable of doing Lightwork unless you yourself bring it.

The second handicap is not to instinctively believe in your ability to transfer energies. But think what you are you doing when you are hugging somebody, or stroking somebody's hair, or just holding the hand of a person. You transfer energies with the intention of showing love and giving comfort. So why not give a chelation and an organ flush to somebody. It can be learned so easily and will enable you to provide support efficiently. It is as easy as holding his hand or stroking his hair.

How to get in touch with?

This evening I can only tell you about techniques we use for basic support. Those of you who would like to learn more about the practical application are welcome to attend my workshop on Saturday. But everybody should gain a practical value from this evening's lecture too. There are things which so self evident to us that we do not see them any more. Earlier I talked about the inexhaustible spring of mother life and what it means to all of us. How can we revive this which we have lost in our daily lives? Our beliefs have blinded us to the importance of mother life!
Let us start with an obvious phenomenon which happens every morning -Sunrise. We have the choice to ignore it, which is what most of us do, or we can recognise sunrise as one of countless miracles making our personal life possible. And to realize it means more than just the thought: "Oh, look at the wonderful sunrise hehe..". We have our senses to conceive that this really exists, this is not a question of belief. We build up a relation to what is taking place; by becoming aware of how deep our personal existence is in relation to this phenomenon. To develop such a kind of consciousness we have to take our time.

And we have to get rid of our arrogance which makes us believe that we are the "crown of creation". Such an attitude is a huge obstacle to perceiving reality and deepening our conscious relationship to life. The simple things are always important. For example food which is holy because it keeps us alive. That means pigs, cows, chickens ducks are holy, as they give their lives to make our life possible. Just as carrots, wheat, rice, and all the plants which keep us alive. What is your personal connection to your food? What means holy to you?
Do you know where the word holy comes from? All words like holy, hell, hellas, also holland, Hel, carry the original meaning "Light" into them. You remember what had been said earlier about the ability to transfer information light of high grade coherence? The main cause of Popps research in Freiburg are Bio photons emitted by food. He investigates the radiation intensity of food and he comes up with two significant results.

1. The more fresh your food comes on the table the more radiation can be measured equally from meat or vegetables.

2. The more your food is grown "naturally", the higher the intensity of its radiation.

I love the physicist proof that organic food brings more life energy to the consumers than industrial food does. Imagine the difference between the information your field takes in from organic food and from information brought from industrial food. I think here we can find one of the reasons for the explosion of cancer we face in our times, but this is just a hypothesis, there is no objective proof.
Lots of you have gardens here. You can pray to your carrots for health and strength they will give you, just try, take your time, develop self respect in a greater sense for yourself.

Information: What do you learn from a shopping mall? Strike your personal balance, what takes energy away from you, what fills you up again. Your balance has to be equal to stay healthy and alive and the balance has to show a fat plus in energy intake if you want to become a powerful healer. Lots of people confuse this with egoism, but self care is no egoism, it is a part of your responsibility, especially when you have to care for others too. Self care is the first thing I try to teach doctors and nurses.

Your garden can recharge your field, the ocean can, or a walk through the forest. Go out, be there, not like a visitor in a museum, be there, that makes the difference. You can build up a deep relationship to a special place of your choice, this place becomes holy for you, because this place is full of light for you, full of information about the living.
The Chinese developed special techniques to take in the light through their eyes and float it through the entire body, through each single organ, and collected it deep into the bone marrow. The technique is not the clue, it is the consciousness, the intention is what makes the difference, be there, as I said before. All this is very intimate to you, it is unique, it takes its time do discover and deepen such a relationship.

A man who had a huge tumour as big as his two fists came to my place once. It was where his left kidney had been before surgery. He was given up by academic medicine, and was given a maximum of three months to live. The man was a truck driver and his behaviour was a challenge. He was cynical, and showed how tough he could be whenever he could. His wife brought him to my place. He would have never come on his own for such a thing as "Hands on healing".

After three weeks of very intensive work he had another CT and the result was that his tumour had build up a capsule around itself which means that it was not growing any more. A miracle. a small one, the big one would have been the disappearance of the tumour, but this small one made him survive for two more years. Because of the treatment he got from me he was free of pain and was in a very good condition for someone with such a problem.
This man had a small garden. Before his disease he had never enough time to be there. He was just working to keep the garden in a good shape, but he never had been there. Now he had loads of time, he was not working anymore as a truck driver and the work in the small garden was done quickly. He did not know of a better place to be so he stayed in his small garden. He stayed there for weeks, for months. Nobody ever, including me, had ever told him anything about the living wheels, what holy means.

The man changed. It was incredible; I had seen him twice a week throughout this time and it was hard to believe that this was the same guy I had met a couple of months before. He did not complain about his destiny any more. He did not complain at all. Instead he was full of love and beauty and when it came closer to his end he impressed me with his wisdom. The truck driver had become a medicine person in his garden, and I tell you he died as a holy man.

Some years later I met his widow. She was shining, strong and happy. This was strange to me because I mostly see people who cannot overcome their pain for a long time. They lose not only their partners, children, or parents; often they loose their own life with them. But this woman did not, she looked at me at and told me about the garden where she spent a lot of time since she had retired. She told me about the power and energy she gains there and about the knowledge that her husband rests in peace, knowledge she carries in her heart. The garden gave the knowledge to her, she told me and so she found comfort.

Grounding and Intention

When you care for somebody who is suffering from a serious disease do not ever forget to care for yourself too. If you do not, you will find yourself destroyed in the end. Where is the value for the person you care for when this happens? If you will not learn to care for yourself you cannot give efficient support to anybody. It is worse, as your load for suffering grows.

I have seen many terminally ill who did not care as much about themselves as they cared about their relatives. Do you think this helps them to gain energy?

You can make out the challenge, either the chance to change. As complaining does not make anything better, and the poor me attitude leads to a disaster. Face your reality, be a warrior! To be a warrior means to develop self discipline and self learning. You fight for the life of somebody you love, you can lose the fight at the end but you were the one who had brought joy and light till the end that makes you a hero anyway. I cannot give a recipe which will work for everyone, I can just lead you to the first steps on your way. You have to walk along the path on your own and learn to become a strong person and a brilliant healer.

So put your feet on the ground, be real. On the physical level we should first work on the flexibility of our joints and vertebrae. We develop muscle strength but not in the way bodybuilders or fitness classes do. Healers have different reasons for developing their strength. Our muscles are like cables or channels for energy flow. The amount of energy you can carry, and for how long, depends mainly on the muscle tone. The more often you channel energy the greater the muscle tone. When practiced at a high level, energy work requires a lot of endurance, especially when working with cancer patients in a hospital.

All joints, even the smallest ones, are chakras. The word chakras is a Sanskrit word used by Hindus which literally means "Wheels of Light". These charkas transform energy as they circulate through the body. They are responsible for creating different energy frequencies or colours and each has a unique function in the entire system of our body. The most important is the vertebrae which is the main channel in our body. Five of the seven big charkas are situated here.

Our body, obviously an instrument of perfection, is created to carry live energy and transform it into material reality. You can strengthen your mind and body by doing special workouts and by clearing your mind through deep meditation. These create the perfect conditions for your practise of hands on healing at a professional level and, also, to remain strong and healthy.

Hands- on -Healing is deeply rooted in the womb of mother earth that is the source of all life. As a living being you are a certainly a part of it. You can learn to communicate with mother earth in the same way as you would communicate with the body of your patient. The energy of life is all around us. The materialisation of this energy is our sensual experience and perception.

Our senses are so sophisticated that an interaction between single cells transmits impulses of electromagnetic waves to specific perceptions, for example the colour blue. This takes place in your brain. It leads us to conclude that our neural system has a limitless ability for perception.

Ancient cultures like the Egyptian, the Chinese or the Native American have designed trainings to widen these perceptions for different reasons. It is important to remember that nobody, except you, is able to see this world through your eyes. But who are you? Whatever your answer to that question is, do not forget that you are unique. And because of this, each one of us is a unique healer or piano player. One of the best ways to learn any kind of art is to have a clear routine and a basic technique that gives you the possibility to use your creativity. The art of healing is a kind of art which needs a lot of creativity.

Independent thinking is also necessary to separate the creative process from the state of day dreaming and to avoid getting lost in fantasies. We can learn much from ancient cultures. I had the privilege to learn from a Native American medicine chief for a couple of years. I did not learn things that I had expected. He performed ceremonies in which I was allowed to participate and I soon realized how my perceptions began to change. I clearly saw all the beliefs which I had carried with me since childhood. Everything that I had been told, things that I had read in books, different ideas of how I had to be and how to be a role model were very different from reality.

I learnt to accept reality and not to be judgemental. I learned not to expect reward and that there was no such thing as good and bad luck. Everything in life is a challenge and an opportunity for growth. There is no room for the luxury of like and dislike. That were the teachings I received. I realized what kind of relationship there is between me and the powers that keep me alive. What are these powers? The answer is simple. It is Nature. These are the fire of the sun, the earth from which my bones are made of, the waters and the air I breathe. I call these elements my ancestors.

When you work with a human energy field it certainly helps if you are conscious of your perceptions to reality. When you first assess your patient, you can feel the energy with your fingers and palms and see these energies, even if your brain has not realized this fact yet. Everyone has this ability to feel this energy. Never forget that! All you need to do is to remain alert and open yourself to this wide range of sensations. When you assess somebody before and after you have treated them, are you then able so see what has happened as a result of your work. The tools of pushing and pulling, heating up and cooling down, collecting and sending the energy are all done with your hands and your intention. The most important element of healing is your intention which is the power you use to create your reality.

A very interesting exercise for assessment is to compare your perceptions to a doctor's diagnosis. What a miracle it is when you can change the energy in a suffering human's energy field and the doctor's diagnosis tells you that the patient's condition has improved. I've often seen this happen in my patients and it is always a miracle to me. I'm always grateful for my part in making this happen. To be a healer is a gift of life. How often do you think it will be offered to you?
